A Venue For Mildly Relevant Thoughts
Greetings!
Several weeks ago I created a blog for my extremely amateur comedy group, BALONEY!, for the sole purpose of creating a podcast. I uploaded all of our videos, submitted the feed to iTunes and within a day we had a podcast. You can check out that blog right here, and our youtube channel here.
During the latter months of 2008 I wrote for a website called College OTR. The website has since lost it’s best writers (one of which you can check out here) and I was left without a venue for my mildly relevant thoughts.
This morning I realized the obvious. I already have a blogger account, so why not start another blog for my mildly relevant thoughts and keep the BALONEY! one for BALONEY! related news only? Eureka! It made perfect sense so alas, here I am.
I settled on the title “Mildly Relevant Thoughts,” because despite my sensitive man-ego, I have no sway over the minds of the masses. My thoughts, as they did during my time at College OTR, will only garner a few laughs from some and angry responses from stoop kids.
In advance, I shall warn all of you that I will satirize organized religion, homophobes, people who cry “SOCIALIST!” without a clue as to what it is, fear mongering and those that think owning an AK-47 was what the Founding Fathers envisioned, and get off at the reading of the Second Amendment.
So with that, I welcome you all to my new venue for mildly relevant thoughts and if nothing else, I hope you’ll find it possible to at least smile.
